Why I Created the God is Able Hoodie — and What It Means to Wear It
When I first started Mbeks Creations, I knew I didn't just want to make clothing. I wanted to make pieces that meant something — items that would remind the person wearing them of who God is and what He is capable of.
The God is Able Hoodie was born from a season in my own life where I needed that reminder desperately.
There was a time when things felt uncertain. Bills, dreams, relationships — everything seemed too big and too heavy. But one morning I opened my Bible and landed on 2 Corinthians 9:8 and something shifted in my spirit.
"And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work."
All things. At all times. Having all that you need.
I must have read that verse fifteen times that morning. And I thought — what if I could carry this reminder with me everywhere I go? What if I could wear it?
That is exactly what this hoodie is. It is not just fabric and a print. It is a declaration. Every time you put it on, you are saying — I believe that God is able. Even when my circumstances say otherwise. Even when I cannot see the way forward. Even on the hard days.
What makes this piece special to me
I chose white for this design intentionally. White speaks of purity, of new beginnings, of surrender. When you wear this hoodie you are not just making a fashion statement — you are making a faith statement.
The cross on the sleeve is a quiet detail that I love. It is not loud or in your face. It is simply there — a reminder of the foundation everything is built on. I find that it starts conversations in the most unexpected places. Someone at a coffee shop, a colleague at work, a stranger in a queue — they notice the cross, they read the words, and suddenly there is an opportunity to share something beautiful.

This hoodie is incredibly versatile. I wear mine with high-waisted jeans and white sneakers for a clean everyday look. A prayer for everyone who wears it
Before every order leaves my hands I pray over it. I pray that whoever receives this piece would feel the love of God when they put it on. I pray that it opens doors for conversations about faith. And I pray that every time they wear it, they are reminded — no matter what they are going through — God is able.
